British band to tour hostels
Britney Spears may be getting all the attention for just kicking off her European tour, but a band from the UK is planning some considerably lower-key events.

The Answering Machine, a four-piece indie outfit, have announced that they will be touring hostels around the country.

Manchester, the city from which the band hails, will play host to the first, before they move on to play some gigs in Birmingham and London.

So if you fancy a musical interlude while on your travels, be sure to check out which hostels they will be appearing at.

They're promoting their debut album - Another City, Another Sorry - and it's certainly a novel idea, which could really be something to look back on if they ever reach the point of playing major stadiums!

But if the indie style of music isn't quite your cup of tea, most hostels should be able to point you in the direction of something that takes your fancy.
