Cheap travel options expanded by easyJet
And for that reason, I'm always on the lookout for a good cheap travel option. I mentioned earlier this week how British Airways and Qantas are offering flights from the UK to Australia based on Ashes cricket scores and now I've got more news good for you.
If you're planning to stay in hostels in Europe this summer, you may be wondering about the best ways to get around. Of course most people will point you in the direction of the train, but if you've got specific plans in mind and need to travel a long distance, flying might in fact be a better option.
Particularly as easyJet has just announced that a total of 15 new routes are being launched across the continent. The budget airline seems to know a thing or two about cheap travel and those heading to or from the UK could benefit as eight of the flights operate from airports around the country.
Chief executive of easyJet Andy Harrison certainly appears to recognise the concerns of those of us for whom finances are somewhat restricted, as he said: "Times are tough for consumers, so we are proud to offer great year-round holiday opportunities in fantastic places such as Paphos, Fuerteventura and Sharm El Sheikh for incredibly low prices."
