Cheap travel options offered on Facebook
Scandinavian backpackers planning a holiday in the near future might like to hold off on any decision-making just yet as an airline has launched a new sales campaign that could see you being sent off around the world for free - albeit with someone you may not have chosen as your travel buddy.

Airline SAS - which flew a massive 29 million passengers around and about in 2008 - is trying to get us to be all spontaneous by suggesting we leave it up to destiny (and Facebook) to pick our destination and friend to go on holiday with. Between August 20th and August 31st, any backpackers who were intending to pay for their trip might like to log onto the SAS website to take part in the game. Apparently, all you have to do is spin a globe and when it stops spinning - and lands on a random place - that's where you'll end up going. The game then flicks through your Facebook friend list and chooses one of your lucky pals.

Of course, there is an element of risk - you could end up going somewhere you really, really don't want to but that's what makes the game so much fun. You can only play it once but the more friends you have on Facebook the higher your chances of being picked as a travel partner so I suggest you head over to the site, add a few more people to your page and then spread the free travel word. Be quick about it though, because SAS is only giving away a total of 100 trips for two.ADNFCR-2435-ID-19322242-ADNFCR
