Check out some art in Berlin
One thing that is well worth checking out is an area of clustered side streets called Scheunenviertel. It's known as Barn Quarter in English because it used to feature many hay barns, but these have now been replaced by bars, eateries and shops.
And the historians among us will also be interested in the range of pre-war buildings that feature on the site.
Kimberly Bradley, who writes for Business Week, is a particular lover of the borough, where most things "are arty".
She calls Berlin "the perfect place to spend a day indulging in the sort of gritty, old-Europe bohemia". And I agree with you, Kimberly. This is an amazing place to visit if you want to have an arts and crafts experience.
Me Collectors Room is one museum that should be a visited by all the culture vultures around I certainly had a great time exploring it and so did Kimberly by the sounds of it.
She said it is "an expansive mini-museum" which comes with an "eclectic stash of work by everyone from South African artist Marlene Dumas to American photographer Cindy Sherman".
There are many exhibitions to see, including The Olbricht Collection, which features 25 years worth of findings by Thomas Olbricht, who has amassed a wide variety of pieces from contemporary art to 16th century artefacts.
