The Berlin International Design Festival kicks off on June 9th and runs until the 13th. The first night features an opening ceremony at the Flughafen Berlin Tempelhof and there will be products by more than 400 designers on show at the event to wow crowds and onlookers.
Now in its eighth year I remember it from a few years back, my girlfriend couldn't get enough of all that was on show there are various displays and none less spectacular than the central exhibition.
The festival website describes its location as being "in the huge, history-charged hangars of former city airport Berlin Tempelhof" and it will feature product launches by new fashion workers that must be seen if you're always on the lookout for contemporary trends and amazing creations.
I really enjoyed myself at the event when I went it was extremely intriguing just looking at all that is on offer and what new things people can come up with these days, many that you wouldn't have dreamed of making in a million years.
There will also be a number of satellite exhibitions showcasing their wares, with museums and galleries from around the city getting in on the act by housing the new displays while festival is on.
