Those thinking of taking in some nostalgia from the Liverpudlian group's frequent trips to the capital may be encouraged to book a cheap hostel in Hamburg.
In a piece for the Telegraph, Adrian Bridge noted that the so-called Fab Four were in fact the Fab Five when they debuted there with John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Pete Best and Stuart Sutcliffe in their line-up.
Hamburg was the scene of many firsts for the band - such as performing with drummer Ringo Starr - and Mr Bridge believes it was where they "properly learnt to play as a band".
One attraction that might suit fans of the group is Beatlemania, an exhibition which opened last year on the recently-constructed Beatles-Platz - a part of the Reeperbahn street and shaped like a vinyl record with stainless steel silhouetted figures of the Liverpool outfit.
Individuals thinking of visiting the extravaganza will have to pay €12 (£9.88) for adults with concessions and children priced at €9 and €8 respectively, while a family ticket is €33.
Reserving a Hamburg hostel may be worth it just to see this and Mr Bridge added that the city is making "a great deal out of its connection with the Beatles".
Moreover, there are many Beatles walking and coach tours available in the area, such as a Magical History Tour by bus.
