This is because Disneyland Paris is bringing a whole range of characters from the silver screen to its resort as part of the New Generation Festival. If you do decide to go, keep your eyes peeled for the likes of Remy and Emile from Ratatouille, Mike Wazowski from Monsters Inc, Buzz Lightyear and faithful friend Woody, all of whom are to be appearing in parades and shows put on in the park. The first African-American Disney creation, Princess Tiana, can also be found on these Parisian streets. What fun!
Of course, older enthusiasts need not be disappointed, as - according to the Birmingham Mail - permanent fixtures like Pluto, Donald Duck, Mickey and Minnie Mouse and Goofy have not been replaced and are, as always, on hand to have their pictures taken or to sign a few autographs.
And once that's done and dusted and all the fun of the fair is over, it could be interesting to temper the excitement with a trip to the Pompidou Centre to check out the Lucian Freud exhibition. Expatica recently reported that, for the first time since 1987, his masterpieces will be hung in a Parisian gallery.
