Don't forget to celebrate 250 years of Guinness
Lots of things are going on besides getting a little bit tipsy and live music is the name of the game over the day in pubs throughout the city. The evening kicks off at the St James's Gate Brewery with a toast to the legend that is Arthur Guinness at exactly 17:59 BST. Why so precise, I'm not sure, but don't forget to raise your glass in his honour. Following that, Hop Store 13 will house some pretty big names from the music industry, including Estelle, Kasabian and Tom Jones.
For those off on cheap travel adventures too far away from Dublin to pop into the pub, all is not yet lost as there are a few global events going on that you might be lucky enough to attend. If you're in Malaysia for example, you'll find Guinness-related activities going on throughout September 25th. Indonesia could also be a good place to be for this extravaganza as a Bus Safari is being put on across ten of its biggest cities. Keep your eyes peeled for that one.
