Eat Ben & Jerry's for free in London
As much as I'm impressed with the company for going 100 per cent Fairtrade, I have to say that I'm much more of a fan of Baskin Robbins. You can't really argue with 31 flavours, but they don't seem to be giving anything away at the moment so for tomorrow I'll be a Ben & Jerry's poster boy (although I'm currently in Colorado, so am fairly sure that by the time my scoop has been posted to me, it will just be a sticky ol' mess).
If you are in the big smoke and fancy taking advantage of this promotion - which has happened every year since 1978, when the good founders of the business handed out freebies to members of the local community - then you'll want to be seen in any number of places, such as Ben & Jerry's Greenwich, the Odeon in Hatfield or Kingston Upon Thames, or Ben & Jerry's Tower Place.
I'm not sure what flavours they'll be dishing out but they've got a whole host that I've never even heard of, like Jamaican Me Crazy sorbet, Fairly Nuts, Baked Alaska and Vanilla Toffee Crunch, although you'll probably all turn around now and say that they've been around for years. Apologies if I don't know my ice cream!
