It might be worth booking a cheap hostel in Edinburgh for the Bank of Scotland Fireworks Concert on September 5th, the finale of the main event, which will be choreographed and set against the backdrop of the iconic Edinburgh castle.
In addition, the event's website noted the bangers and rockets will be breathtaking, while there will also be "an intoxicating and exciting mix of wonderful live music performed by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra".
"The technical and artistic wizards of Pyrovision once again choreograph a stunning display to match the orchestra's exuberant music-making," the web page added.
It may be a good idea to reserve an Edinburgh hostel as soon as possible and get to the spectacle quite a bit before its 21:00 BST start, as last year the extravaganza attracted more than 250,000 watching from an array of vantage points across the city.
But do not despair if you cannot get there early as the fireworks will be seen in many places all over Edinburgh and the concert will also be broadcast on ForthFM.
Tickets for the event at Princes Street Gardens are priced at £11, while it could be worth booking a hostel in Edinburgh as near as possible to the location in order to be in a good position to see the action.
And people are encouraged to bring picnics and travelling rugs with them to this popular spot.
