After a successful summer has been enjoyed by many, UKinbound believes that companies in the travel industry are now thinking positively about what is ahead, more so than for a long time, which could be reason for people to book some cheap London hostels instead of venturing abroad.
There have been a number of reasons which have created scaremongering in the tourism industry recently, including those who feel that a rise in aviation taxation could be negative, as well as question marks surrounding the strategy that the government has for tourism.
However, Mary Rance, chief executive for UKinbound, believes that there are plenty of reasons to have a feel-good attitude when associated with people visiting the UK, in which she specifically cited the Olympic 2012 Games.
Ms Rance explained: "The UK is completely different from previous host countries, both in terms of our ease of access and our intrinsic strengths, while the infrastructure improvements generated by the 2012 Games will make us even more attractive in the long term."
The Olympic and Paralympics Games will be gracing the country from July 27th until September 9th 2012, and those who visit the capital after booking cheap London hostels may be able to catch glimpses of the 377-foot spiralling tower, after it was announced that work on the landmark has already begun.
Sporting fans are also expected to cram into London next May when Wembley hosts the final of the prestigious Champions League tournament, a destination which Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti believes has helped "to improve the motivation" for the Blues to be playing in this fixture.
