Get your groove on in Barcelona
Posted in: Travel

If you're a music lover then the chances are that you really enjoy going to a good festival or two and what better time and place than now to book into a Barcelona hostel and check out the Primavera Sound event.
The Spanish music show takes place on May 27th to the 29th at the Parc del Forum and has attracted some fantastic acts this year.
Dog Days singer Florence and the Machine will be there, as well as the Pet Shop Boys, who are also headlining a stage at the Glastonbury festival in England this year.
And you don't even need to leave straight after the event you can stick around the city to enjoy some more concerts.
On the Saturday (May 29th) and Sunday there will be an assortment of bands taking to the stage in the Joan Miro Park, such as Dum Dum Girls, Real Estate, A Sunny Day in Glasgow and McEnroe and entrance to these gigs is free.
At the Pimavera Sound, those who are in to their alternative music could be pleased to hear that the Pixies all the way from the US - will also be performing, which should be an absolutely outstanding show. I've seen them once before and they were fantastic!
But if you fancy sticking around for a few more days after the festival and you still have a musical appetite then why not check out Alicia Keys, who is set to perform at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barca.
