Those who are not quite sure whether to book that cheap hostel in Sydney or not could be convinced by an athletic event with a twist.
The Sydney Tower Run-Up is taking place on July 23rd and there may not be a better way than getting up one of the most iconic landmarks in the city.
It might not be an activity for the faint hearted as there are 1,504 steps to climb, but anyone over 15 years old can literally step up to the challenge and the organisers do not think it should possess too tough a test.
They said: "It's not as hard as you think, in 2009 the average time to reach the summit was less than 15 minutes. Challenge yourself and be rewarded with the highest and best views in Sydney!"
People thinking of taking part could book their Sydney hostel for slightly before the date of the event as it will give them more time for sightseeing and to check out their task ahead.
Individuals and elites who wish to enter will have to pay $50 AUD (£29) for the privilege, while teams of up to four can register for $200 but registration closes on Friday.
And those who book their hostel in Sydney with a few days to spare before or after the run-up then one thing to do could be to take in some of the delicacies at the Sydney Tower Restaurant, in which individuals do not have to run up the steps to earn their food.
