Cheap travel has made it more accessible to those planning to take in as much as they can, while hostels in USA represent an ideal way to rest your head as you do so.
Good news, then, that new flights have been added by US Airways.
The airline has created a new route from Birmingham (in the UK, not Alabama!) to Philadelphia and is using it to promote the wonders that are the Great Lakes.
According to Toby McCarrick, one of the bosses of the Great Lakes of North America region, this is going to help increase interest.
And as far as I'm concerned that can only be a good thing - as the more people who are able to check out the area while staying in hostels the better.
This region alone is the size of Europe after all!
