How about a London hostel by the Thames for Great River Race?
It might be a good idea to book a London hostel near the River Thames for the event - a 21-mile extravaganza along the waterway which attracts around 300 crews from all over the world.
The race begins at London's Docklands with the starting canon - which will be on board the New Southern Belle, a boat people can enjoy lunch on as they cruise to Chiswick - scheduled to be set off at 12:15 BST.
The spectacle has been running since 1988 and there will be plenty of photo opportunities as the race progresses, according to the event's website.
It added: "Its intriguing mix of colour, spectacle, intense competition and casual fun, it combines all the ingredients that made London's other marathon such a success."
It takes place on September 25th so it might be worth reserving a cheap hostel in London as soon as possible.
Both true competitors as well as those who are just in it for leisure are attracted to the race and its webpage noted that this showpiece does for rowing what the London Marathon did for running.
As well as the action on the water there will be activities on dry land to keep people entertained such as a hog roast barbecue and a blues band will be providing entertainment.
One place which could be ideal to watch events unfold from is the Viscount passenger boat, which is set to leave the Masthouse Terrace Pier at 11:45 BST with boarding starting from 11:15 BST.
