How about booking an Edinburgh hostel for the Military Tattoo?
Posted in: Travel

Those who want to indulge in some Scottish culture may like to check out the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
The event, for which booking a cheap hostel in Edinburgh could be useful, takes place from August 6th to the 28th and this year in an extra special occasion as it marks its diamond jubilee.
According to the festival's website, there is an "amazing" motorcycle display team and there are pipers, gymnasts, singers and dancers.
"The emphasis is again very much on music with the event expected to delight an international crowd with its rich variety," the website added.
Two of the main attractions at the occasion are set to be the Massed Pipes and Drums and that of the Massed Military Bands, which could be worth the Edinburgh hostel reservation fee alone.
But it will not just be Scottish groups playing as the Citadel Band from Charleston, South Carolina in the US will be performing, as well as an army band from New Zealand, who are renowned for their humour and diversity.
Keen bikers might like to watch the Imps Motorcycle Display Team, who come from London's Docklands and are celebrating their 40th anniversary and should be "set to provide a thrilling exhibition of motorcycle prowess performed at breathtaking speed".
Those who are up for attending the festival may like to book a hostel in Edinburgh near the castle, as the event takes place in the backdrop of the monument.
Other extravaganzas occurring in the Scottish capital which may be worth a visit includes the Foodies Festival, which is happening between August 13th and the 15th in Holyrood Park.
