Fans of the artist should not delay in getting a cheap hostel in Berlin booked and then head along to see the band live in a backdrop of a fascinating city.
The group has graced the entertainment world with a series of catchy and memorable tracks since first forming in 1968 with the original members of Ritchie Blackmore, Rod Evans, Nick Simper, Jon Lord and drummer Ian Paice - Ian Gillan and Roger Glover joined soon after.
Gracing from Hereford, Deep Purple wasted no time getting their unique sound recognised, releasing their debut single and album in the same year as their foundation, as well as touring the US, thus gaining a fan base on an international stage.
The band would disband for a period toward the end of the 1970s, where various members received a wealth of success with other memorable bands, such as Rainbow and Whitesnake – who had a hit record with Is This Love?
However, the team of Blackmore, Gillan, Glover, Lord and Paice once again entered the musical fray in April 1984 when a reformation was announced and have continued to grace fans with a range of critically-acclaimed albums and sell-out tours.
Those lucky enough to get tickets when Deep Purple calls at the German capital in November after booking cheap Berlin hostels will likely hear a range of hits from their extensive back-catalogue, which is arguably capped off with the hit Smoke On The Water. The track has had almost 100,000 plays on Last.fm in the last half year alone.
