John Malkovich comes to London
Because, my friends, a slice of Hollywood is coming to the city, with the actor treading the boards of the Barbican Centre and taking on the role of Jack Unterweger - a real-life serial killer - in the one-man play The Infernal Comedy. Doesn't entirely sound like a barrel of laughs but just the mere fact that Malkovich is involved makes me want to up sticks and head off half way around the world to check it out.
According to the Press Association, artistic director Graham Sheffield said: "Part of the reason I picked [this play] - it's not a great, fun evening in the sense of going to see In The Loop or something - was the issue of how people like that, monsters like that, can get away with crimes like that."
If you're like me and are champing at the bit to go, it's on in 2011, which may seem like a long time to wait but move fast as tickets are likely to go in a flash. However, it's also being put on in Toronto, so if you're in the area, you'll be able to catch a show there as well.
