The company has conducted a poll, asking British residents where they would most like to count down the clock to 2010 from and, lo and behold! London's on the list - great news for all those who already have their hostels in London booked and ready to go. Now, London is one of my favourite places in the world so I'm slightly disappointed that it didn't get the top spot. It's ranked fifth, having lost out to Amsterdam, Paris, Tenerife and New York.
That said, if you are going to be in London over the NYE break, then you're sure to have a great night out and I can almost guarantee that you won't be wishing that you were anywhere else. (Unless, of course, you're one of these people who gets homesick very easily, in which case you may be thinking of your house while the clock strikes 12.)
Other places that were voted onto the list by the British public are Edinburgh in 8th (again, a surprise as Hogmanay is probably one of the most famous ways to celebrate New Year's Eve) and Berlin, which is in 11th.
If you are in a London hostel at this time, View London tells me that Infernos nightclub's plans for the evening might be quite fun. It's putting on a fancy dress party with a wig theme and a Bucks Fizz reception.
