London is hosting Lord of the Rings, live
Much like the Beatles/Rolling Stones debate that saw people firmly categorised back in the 60s, people these days can be placed in one of two groups - it's Lord of the Rings v Star Wars. Which would you say you were? I'm definitely Lord of the Rings, I'm afraid, which is why I'm very excited to have come across this cool event going on over in the UK and am sincerely wishing I was staying in a London hostel at the moment.

If I were, I would definitely be hotfooting it over to the Royal Albert Hall for a bit of Tolkien fun on April 23rd and 24th, as the venue is playing host to a magical event that sounds like all kinds of fun. That's right, my friends - The Two Towers is back for yet another screening, but this time the music of the film is being played live by the London Philharmonic, the very orchestra that provided the score for the soundtracks of the movies.

Can't say fairer than that! If it weren't for all this pesky volcanic ash, I'm fairly sure I'd be packing my bags right now and zipping off to London town for some shenanigans. Of course, April 23rd and 24th is somewhat short notice, being tomorrow and the day after but don't despair just yet for help is certainly at hand. The Return of the King is also being shown in September, so you'll have plenty of time to get in at least one viewing. Badabing!
