According to the Wine Show website, booking in advance is a great idea as buying tickets on the door will stick an extra £2.50 onto the price tag, but the charges start from £12.50 so everyone should be able to afford entry anyway. Happy days!
What do you get for your money? Quite a lot, I'd say - particularly if you're into your wine tasting anyway. Not only will grape experts be on hand to answer your every question but you'll be afforded the opportunity to sup on a few choice vintages and buy bottles from around the world.
You can also take part in one of the wine walks, led by one of a number of authorities on the subject, including Oz Clark, Robert Joseph and Chris Scott, who will take you around the show.
If that's not really your cup of tea (or glass of wine), you might want to stay in your London hostel a bit longer as the MPH Motor Show is coming to town at the start of November, complete with a live Top Gear special.
