The Six Senses rue de Castiglione is, according to Travel Daily UK, to be found in the very heart of the city, near to Place Vendome and Le Jardin des Tuileries - "a holistic haven" apparently, which to my mind sounds quite inviting.
Those who are already planning their trip will find two floors dedicated to the art of making you feel fantastic, with Japanese lanterns, a walled garden and a real-time picture of the Parisian skyline, which is visible from all six treatment rooms.
What's more, an exclusive anti-ageing therapy can be found within the spa's four walls - called Paris Roof Tops Honey Facial - that uses locally-sourced honey, which is also used in the ginger tea offered to all patrons of the Six Senses experience. No doubt if you do opt for this, you'll wipe away all those years of backpacking around the world. Fantastic!
And I've just found out that Six Senses is a nicely philanthropic company, having pledged to match all contributions made to Safe Water for Rural Communities Now!, which is working on providing relief to the victims of the Haiti earthquake.
