From 2006 to 2008 there were 24,000 participants which saw more than $100,000 (£57,593) collected for four charities.
Moreover, while staying at a cheap hostel in Sydney it might also be worth visiting other famous features of the area, such as the Sydney Opera House and Taronga Zoo which can be accessed by ferry from the city.
