Booking a cheap hostel in Paris as soon as possible could be a good idea for those up for attending the event, which features a host of top bands.
Some of the main attractions include US punk-rockers Blink 182, the Stereophonics and the Kooks.
Heavy rockers Queens of the Stone Age will be supporting Massive Attack on the Saturday (August 28th), while the Ting Tings will be on just before headliners Arcade Fire on the Sunday.
Those thinking of checking out the extravaganza might like to book a Paris hostel because camping on the site has sold out.
The festival is taking place in the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud - just outside the capital city - and the organisers "highly" recommend using public transport to attend the event.
People thinking of bringing children to the attraction might be delighted to note that there is a mini rock event, which is geared towards youngsters aged between six and ten.
There will be gigs for kids, while they can join in with creative workshops and wannabe Eric Claptons can receive guitar lessons.
And individuals who want to learn a bit about the music they have come to see can check out the photo exhibition - of which there is one every year - put on by music photographer Richard Bellia.
Viewers can see some of the finest pictures that he has collected over his career, which has spanned more than 30 years.
