This is because the New Jersey rockers are settling in at the UK capital's O2 arena for a residency, where they'll wow fans with hits such as Keep the Faith and Always, which is my personal power ballad fave. I also love Wanted Dead or Alive and air guitar classic You Give Love a Bad Name.
If you want to catch Jon Bon Jovi in London, they are set to play on June 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th, 13th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 22nd, 23rd, 25th and 26th. Quite a list of dates!
I'm inclined to agree with the tour's promoter as well - AEG Live's Rob Hallett described the group as "the best live band in the world". AC/DC aside, he's got a point.
So, that's some evening entertainment sorted while I'm in London - and of course the O2 is real easy to reach via public transport, so I won't have to worry too much about that. I've seen bands there before and I know to hop on the Jubilee line before getting off the tube at North Greenwich.
And in the meantime? I'm making a playlist for my girlfriend's iPod so she can start swotting up on the Jovi's greatest hits!
All together now... wooooaaah! We're halfway there...
