That's why I'm glad I stumbled across this gem of a gallery, even the name of which I have fallen in love with. It's called The Museum of Everything, which is so vague that I absolutely cannot wait to head off to the city to see what's housed within its four walls.
According to the gallery hall's website, it claims to be the "first ever space for artists and creators, living outside our modern society" and first opened its doors in October 2009. One of its exhibitions has more than 200 drawings, installations, sculptures and paintings on display, which have been chosen by other contemporary artists and curators.
And if you'd rather be a bit more sociable than just wandering around ooh-ing and aah-ing over the great masterpieces on display, the museum also puts on screenings, talks and other gatherings of an undefined nature so check out their site to see what's on before you make a decision on which day to go.
Don't forget to be green and rent a bike while staying in your London hostel as well. The Times recently reported that the city will soon be offering bicycles for hire for £1 a day, which I think is fantastic!
