So you think youre well travelled
I like to consider myself fairly well travelled and on my trips around the world I've seen many amazing sights and stayed in some great hostels.

But there's one man with whom I just can't compete, as the St Louis Budget Travel Examiner notes that Gig Gwinn has been to every country in the world.

Literally - every country.

Apparently just eight people have managed this feat and Mr Gwinn has travelled four million miles over 40 years on his trips to 317 nations.

Now, most of us aren't going to be able to come close to that, obviously. But he has rather helpfully provided us with some of his favourite places to visit.

Top of the list is an African safari, followed by Italy and then Canyon Country in the US.

And if you're planning some cheap backpacker travel, he also recommends France and China to round out the top five.

New Zealand and Australia came in at number nine and after the former was named the most peaceful country in the world this week I reckon interest in it is going to grow.
