Very interestingly, Mark "Chopper" Read - the notorious Aussie criminal - will also be performing on April 25th, of which the organisers said: "Only Don Bradman eating a pie, riding Pharlap around the MCG is more Australian than spending Anzac Day with Chopper."
Even thinking about that is making me laugh. I've seen Chopper (the film based on the life and times of the aforementioned hard man) and it's very interesting viewing, to say the least. I can't quite picture him as a performance artist somehow, although I'm sure that he's an excellent one (just hedging my bets, in case he ever reads this and hunts me down to exact revenge).
There's also fun and games for kids, however and parents might like to take their youngsters to check out The Gigalees Crazy Circus Show, Russell Kane and 60 in 60, which will see 60 comedians given one minute to showcase their best jokes to crowds.
