Take a ride in San Francisco
And you won't be alone, because there are hundreds of thousands of cyclists around the city, which has a population of around seven million. It was a great way to see the area and kept me nice and fit during my stay, which is always a bonus!
Cameron Williamson, who writes for the Dominion Post, also found using a bike to be the perfect way to travel around San Fran and he particularly enjoyed the facilities in the busy areas, saying that "even important people ride bikes" there.
He added: "Downtown seems made for biking, generous cycle lanes and good signage make me feel like we matter, us cyclists, beyond being a nuisance to people in cars."
One of the places you could visit when you are out and about on two wheels is the Museum of Modern Art, which features "gallery walls dripping with Pollocks and Rothkos and Jasper Johns".
There is currently a collection of around 26,000 pieces of artwork in the venue and it is increasing all the time. And there are even special travelling exhibitions hosted by the museum.
These include a variety of collection-based presentations, such as modern art and masterpieces, as well as pieces of contemporary artwork in the making.
