Treat your ears to a feast of music in Budapest
Posted in: Travel

Entertainment lovers might want to travel to Hungary in July or August and book a hostel in Budapest as the city is set to host its annual summer amusement event.
The Budafest Summer Music festival begins on July 6th and runs until August 17th and you might uncover a wealth of musical talent which will keep your ears busy for months on end in the future.
Whether you're a fan of opera, folk music or neither, there will surely be something that you will enjoy listening to when checking out the event and who knows, you might even learn to like a new style.
There are a variety of operas taking to the stage this year, such as Mozart's Don Giovanni and Puccini's Tosca and Madama Butterfly.
Some of the operas take place at the Hungarian State Opera, "one of the most significant 19th century monuments" in the city, according to the festival website, adding: "It is regarded as one of the world's most beautiful opera theatres."
The Hilton Dominican Court will also be used as a destination for the event and the organisers could hardly have picked anywhere better as a "truly elegant location".
But if music specifically isn't your thing then why not take in some of the ballets that are set to be on offer at the event. These are not your average performances as there will be a showing of Csajkovszkij's Swan Lake and MendelssohnSeregi's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
And you should also get yourself along to the Berlin Jazz festival between November 4th and 7th to see yet more amazing musical performances.
