Well, luckily for jet-setters new to the region, Helium has outlined some of must-see places and must-do activities for people staying in hostels in Amsterdam to entertain themselves with.
For example, The Anne Frank House - found at Prinsengracht 263 - should be paid a visit as it is where the diarist and her family hid from the Nazis in a secret annex over the course of several years.
And anyone interested in checking out some of the museums after they have deposited luggage in their Amsterdam hostel were advised to head to the Dutch Scheepvaartmuseum - dating back to 1656 - or perhaps the Madame Tussaud Scenerama.
Furthermore, the Round Lutheran Church, built between the years of 1668 and 1671, could wow jet-setters, who may like to attend some of the concerts routinely put on in the building.
And the Van Gogh museum is possibly one of the most compelling places that holidaymakers can frequent, particularly between now and August 29th as the gallery is holding exhibition Bedroom Secrets: Restoration of a Masterpiece. This is intended to educate guests as to how the artist went about creating legendary piece The Bedroom - which is currently undergoing some restoration and will sadly not be available for viewing - back in 1888.
