What to do in Paris over Easter
While the French capital may not seem like the obvious choice for this particular festival, Courtney Traub of About.com has highlighted a number of reasons why it should be near the top of your list.
Nearby Belgium and Switzerland are typically the places singled out for chocoholics, but those of you with a sweet tooth may well want to head to Paris. Personally I don't believe Easter is complete until you've made yourself worry about your teeth falling out. And Ms Traub observed: "Luckily, Paris boasts some of the finest chocolate makers in the world and Easter is a major occasion for these artisans and cocoa experts to show off their talents."
But if you're hoping to catch sight of the Easter Bunny you're likely to be disappointed, since French children get their goodies from a flying bell from Rome. As such, treats themed for the season take the form of eggs, chickens or bells.
Those who intend to line their stomach with actual food were offered tips on the best places to eat come Easter Monday, with Coco&Co among the top picks. Be warned, though, it's a concept restaurant that appears to make eggs (not the chocolate kind) its main ingredient, so you better be in the mood.
