Food fans have plenty of time then to snap up a cheap Sydney hostel and get tucked in to some of the delights on offer over the period, with something likely to be there for everyone looking to indulge.
Anyone wanting to know what this festival offers need only know that it features "some of [Sydney's] most talented chefs, as well as chefs from the best restaurants worldwide", meaning that there will be some extravagant dishes on offer for attendees.
Two of the events announced for the latter part of the month are a book launch and a food and wine fair.
Russell Blaikie's new cookbook Must Eat is the subject of the launch of the novel on October 29th, which allows those who rent some cheap hostels in Sydney and attend the event to tuck into a "four-course bistro-style" meal and choose from a choice of wine while also getting the chance to buy a book from a chef that has been named as "Perth's best" by 720 ABC Perth.
The following day, food lovers will get the chance to experience even more digestible treats, this time as part of the Sydney Food and Wine Fair 2010.
Set in a location that sits on a lush backdrop of the tree-lined walkways of Hyde Park North, the celebration invites attendees to purchase a book of coupons for the price of just $15 (£9.16), then exchange coupons on a variety of stalls as they see fit, with a vast choice set to be offered.
