Taking place between November 21st to 28th, the event is definitely for those keen on seeing some of the biggest names in the sport compete, and spectators will probably find it best to book a cheap hostel in London soon.
The World Tour Finals is the final contest of the men's tennis season pitting the top performers throughout the year in one knockout tournament.
It is because the entire calendar of the tennis season, which is made up of 62 tournaments and four grand slams, is recorded up until this meeting, in which the top eight singles and doubles competitors will qualify for it.
Judging on September's rankings, four competitors highly likely to finish in the top eight are Australian Open champion Roger Federer, Britain's number one Andy Murray, the skilful Serbian Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal – who has won Wimbledon, Roland-Garros and the US grand slams this season.
All competitors involved will be battling it out for the title in a round-robin style format, in which each will be seen in a minimum of three matches throughout the tournament, meaning that those who book a London hostel will be treated to some thrilling and heated encounters.
From there, a knockout competition will take place in the semi-final and final stages, of which a winner will clearly be determined.
