Why not book cheap Edinburgh hostels to see Bon Jovi?
US rock legends Bon Jovi will be taking over the Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh when they kick-off their UK open-air tour on June 22nd 2011.

Fans of the band should ensure they have a cheap hostel in Edinburgh booked up and then secure a spot in the gig which is bound to be a musical highlight next summer.

Jon Bon Jovi is the main singer of the group and was a key part to Bon Jovi becoming icons in the music scene.

First performing in clubs at the age of 16, Jon, whose birth name is John Francis Bongiovi Jr, met up with keyboardist David Bryan while the pair were in high school, forming a two-piece rhythm and blues band called Atlantic City Expressway, as well as other projects.

After Jon's first single Runaway received frequent radio play, the artist began to realise he needed more members, thus casting Alec John Such, Tico Torres and Richie Samborra to join himself and Bryan to form Bon Jovi.

More than 26 years later, the group are still going strong, having just released their Greatest Hits album on November 1st 2010.

Fans who manage to get along to the show after snapping up a room in some cheap Edinburgh hostels are set to be treated to a range of hits from this record, such as You Give Love A Bad Name and Livin' On A Prayer, both of which have exceeded 70,000 plays each in the last half a year on Last.fm.
