Returning to a Sydney hostel after a good exercise in the Sydney Running Festival - which takes place on September 19th - could be the perfect place to relax.
The event - which is celebrating its tenth year - is advertised by the organisers as "the run that's for everyone".
And there is an array of activities to indulge in including a marathon - or if that seems like too much then a half marathon could be more up someone's street - or even the bridge run might be appealing.
But those with children may favour the family fun run which lasts approximately 4km and starts at 08:00 local time.
Individuals interested in this might like to book a cheap hostel in Sydney near Milsons Point, where the race starts from, in order to have more of a lie-in.
The event will lead runners over the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and finish outside the famous opera house.
The organisers have changed the course of the half marathon to enable the participants to take in the "beautiful" Royal Botanic Gardens and it also goes towards Darling Harbour, via the Rocks.
People who are keen on an extended stay in the city may like to visit the Rocks Aroma Festival in the area on July 25th to indulge in an abundance of activities such as camel riding or belly dancing.
There will also be a host of stalls with various beverages from around the world available to buy, including Indonesian and Turkish coffee, as well as apple tea.
So, reserving another hostel in Sydney may be required.
