Why not sing the blues in a hostel in Montreal?
The FestiBlues International is taking place in the city later this month, so those with a week or so off may like to book a hostel in Montreal as soon as possible to secure some accommodation for their trip.
Music from around 50 international artists will be on show for the 13th edition of the extravaganza. This includes performances from 18-year-old Nina Attal, as well as Canadian group Brian & The Bluestorm.
Those who want to be based close to the action may like to consider booking a Montreal hostel near the Ahuntsic Park, the northern part of Montreal Island, while performances will also be taking place in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville Maison de la Culture and surrounding bars.
The festival website noted that the event "adheres to the principle of sustainable development, combining cultural, touristic and social factors into a visionary event".
And the organisers have pointed out that young artists are a large part of the not-for-profit group.
A day ticket for the event is priced at CAD$6 (£3.73), but those who are planning on sticking around for the whole five days should think about purchasing the passport option which costs $15.
Individuals who are not sure how long they are planning to be at the festival might like to book a cheap hostel in Montreal for the duration in case they decide to remain for longer.
