It’s that time of year where in some parts of the world there are many who are fed-up with the winter chill, the snow, and that general darkness and gloom that’s in the air despite what time in the day it is! And even if you’re currently roasting in the heat of the sun you might still be in need of an escape from your normal surroundings! 10. Trinidad and Tobago
These two unique Caribbean islands call themselves the ‘True Caribbean’. The two popular islands of Trinidad and Tobago are steeped in history and a rich and colourful culture. This dual nation has so much on offer including breath-taking beaches, beautiful coral reefs for diving, exotic rainforests and an annual two day Carnival that is the highlight of island events. Tourism is on the up in Trinidad and Tobago, but the islands remain true to their surroundings and culture. A winter sun holiday in Trinidad and Tobago comes highly recommended and offers great value as you get two island paradises for the price of one!
