40 Berkeley Hostel in Agnes Water - Town Of 1770, Vereinigte Staaten von Amerika

I really liked my stay at 40 Berkeley Reception nice, internet worked well, room small but with furniture (desk, closet, dresser). Location not to be beat!Breakfast not especially appetizing. Julie, from USA ~ 2nd May 2012

The location is great, just a few blocks between two different T stations (Back Bay and Arlington). The hostel is also close enough that you can walk to pretty much any major destination within 2 miles. The neighborhood itself is nice and there is a 7-11 open 24 hours across the street if you need to pick up snacks or toiletries. The hostel itself is nice, clean, and has great service desk people. The location is perfect to visit the city, you don't need to take any public transport. The breakfast is really good and the room was simple but clean. The only negative thing was that in our room there was a very strong pipes at night coming from the tubes and it was quite annoying because it woke us up several times during the night. We spoke with the staff, but we were told that all the rooms had the same problem.

In the context of Boston this is good value for money, outside of Boston I wouldn't pay this much for a similar hostel.It is clean and in a good location - oh and FREE breakfast.However the rooms are very basic and the doors offered no sound insulin from the corridor.If you are prepared for the basic rooms and take some ear plugs then you will be sorted.Would recommend it to a friend.
