Not too close to downtown, but close to public transport, and the neighborhood has some nice bars. Staff was friendly, beds/bathrooms were clean.It's a good deal. Damian, from USA ~ 14th Feb 2012

for 35 dollars a night, we enjoyed a big suite with a "shared bathroom" we were the only two touse. We took advantage of a a big bedroom, a living-room with a kitchen and a valuable big bathtube (appreciable when it's 10 degrees C outside). my experience was not good. Actually, the location of Farrington Inn is very nice. I stayed 3 nights just encountering historical snow strom before halloween. There was smell in the corridor. RATS! Bed bugs! Do not be fooled by published pictures... You will most likely be staying in a building next door that is in TERRIBLE condition!! The entire place smells of excrement. This was the most horrendous hostel we've ever been in- its v overpriced, dirty (lots of dark long hairs on the bathroom floor and a blocked toilet), the locks on the doors are very flimsy, there are no lockers and the manager hides away. There was one nice girl who worked there- we went to her on the last day of our stay since we had a horrendous last evening- some people in the 'apartment' next to us partied rowdily until 7am- the time we had to wake and get ready for our flight.
