Location is excellent as it is one underground stop from Shinjuku. The rooms have 28 beds in which means they are too noisy to get any sleep. Staff weren"t that helpful and it was annoying that you had to pay 100yen to have a shower. Also, there was no other hot water which meant a cold shave, won"t be returning!

Had a great time, the 28 person dorm capsuals are surprisingly comfy and quiet. Location is very handy for anywhere you want to go. The 2.00am curfew is a problem though is you want to go out on the razz.

Fantastic location, a couple of eateries in the area (good tempura resturant down the road, cheap). Staff were friendly and helpful. Beer vending machin upstairs. Plenty of free internet. Rooms were a little hot, air con just couldn't keep up (I was here in summer, wasn't unbearable by any means, just not as cool as it could have been). Showers were fantastic (had to pay for hot water, but they were clean and had good pressure)

Hotel closes doors at night (we are not kids), they charge for shower, darky, , slo elevators, bad atmosphere...
I know much better places in tokio. Just take this if there is not any other available.

Close enough but not quite in Shinjuku, still not a bad location. 28 bed dorm got quite stuffy! Novelty value in staying in the capsule style beds/boxes! Comfy and roomy though! Staff didn't seem to know enough to be particularly helpful.

No phone, so you have to go out to call even if it s raining.
Lobby computers don't have sound working, so non skype.
A little overcrowded, feels like being in a cemitery, but clean.
Also no kitchen ..
Good location

The Ace Inn was fantastic. We booked at the last minute, got great prices and were hesitant about staying in a 14 bed dorm, but when we got there were absolutely thrilled at the room and privacy. It was the best hostel we stayed in out of the 20+ we tried. The staff were so helpful and it made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you :)
