we really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were really, really friendly and it was very clean which is rare in hostels! really pleased with it, would just like lockers in rooms for each guest and a light on each bed so as not to disturb other guests

it was a really nice place to stay - bed good, really clean. it is a really nice place to stay but not really a place if you are wanting to meet people...the only only down side was that they had no lockers in the rooms..CLEAN :)!

Great place to stay. Perfect location - near to the city centre, train station, coach station and cinema. Very helpful staff and comfortable bed. Cheers guys.

Albatross is really a nice hostel with a big kitchen, rooms that are clean and everything you can expect (wifi, etc). Yet, I am very disappointed by the staff because when I told them that I would leave at 5 AM, they told me that somebody would be here to give me my £5 deposit back. Of course, nobody was there and I had to leave anyway to catch a cab ... But except for that, I would definitely recommend that hostel. Just make sure that you don't leave too early ...

Some problems with the showers one morning, but generally pretty good. Great location, clean and well equipped. Not very lively the weekend I was there though.

Everything is fine and would stay again. However there are no lockers in the rooms and you have to trust your roommates not to nick your stuff!

This place was great, amazing location, the staff was very helpful and the large common areas were nice. The greatest weakness of this place was the bathrooms. The showers and heating were extremely annoying! You could not set the water temperature and it was a push button that had to be pushed ever 30 seconds throughout your shower. The heat would stay on in the room for 30 minutes, and then you would have to get up and press a plate on the wall - also extremely annoying.
