Albergue Studio Hostel in Milan, Spanien

The owner of the hostel is very nice, he welcomed us warmly and gave us a lot of information and advice. We stayed in the double bed private ensuite room, it is a bit small (and the bathroom is small as well) but it is comfortable as long as you are just spending the night there. The breakfast room is large and a fridge is available for guests. All in all, an excellent low-cost solution if all you want to do is visiting the city! Nicola, from Italy ~ 18th Feb 2012

This hostel is very good with the cheap price but still has a little disadvantage, which location is very far from the city. If you want to stay here, advice you to buy the 1-day ticket instead of 10-trip ticket metro. Staff and room are very nice. The kitchen is full of facilities and around the hostel has supermarket where you can buy some supplies in the night. If I have a chance, I will absolutely go back to here. Yes, you will read in all the reviews that this hostel is a little bit out of the beaten path - and this is true. You do need to take a train to get into town and see the main sites. That said, if you buy a T-10 card (ten trips = about .90 euro each) the cost savings is well worth your slightly extra time. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I had such a lovely stay here at Albergue Studio. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, available around the clock. The rooms were quiet and clean, and the other guests were respectful of the space and each other.Though this location is a bit outside of the major tourist areas, it is very close to the metro. Also, the neighborhood here is safe and full of good shopping and eating. (Be sure to go to Tomás for patatas bravas!). When I return to Barcelona, I will stay here again.
