A very nice, newly refurbished place and very clean and quiet. The breakfast is sparce. If you speak a little spanish they are very helpful with giving directions and tourist advice. john, from USA ~ 3rd Mar 2012

Excellent Hostel.The best I stayed in in all of Spain.The reception was warm and inviting.No key deposits, no list of rules, no waiting around holding my backpack for an hour while everyone ignores me.The place is incredibly clean.Breakfast is hardly worthwhile, butthey make an effort.A NOTE:Take the bus or walk all the way to the top of the hill.The Alfonso VI is actually a hotel.If you are standing in front of it, just to the right is an alleyway with steep stairs.At the bottom you' Owen, from USA ~ 2nd Nov 2011

This hostel is more like a hotel compared to a hostel. The location is right next to main square. The building is newly remodeled, the complimentary breakfast was served by a waiter and dishes done by hostel personal. I travelled with three friends in Toledo. I booked this hostel on internet. At first I thought this hostel wouldn't be good enough because of the cheap price. But the view from the hostel was beautiful since it is located on the highest location in Toledo. We didn't get any of our belongings lost so I guess security was also fine. Since it was located close to the central plaza(Zocodover Plaza) the hostel's location is great. The Staff was very kind and you can play ping pong for fun(It was unex JIWAN, from South Korea ~ 16th Jul 2011

It's the hostel visitors to Toledo have been asking for a while. It has a perfect location right next to the Alcazar, and like 3 minutes away from Plaza de Zocodover its staff can't be nicer nor the hostel cleaner, and if you're travelling on a budget the price can't be beaten in Toledo, plus it includes a nice little breakfast.
