Brothers Hostel in Oudtshoorn, Agypten

Brothers Hostel is a shining example of the welcoming and friendly nature of the Egyptian tourism industry.Its staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, while the hostel itself is clean, comfortable, and equipped with wifi in the lobby area and lounge.Most importantly, the hostel provides free airport pickup to all its guests! Free airport pick-up was a huge plus! We arrived at the hostel and were given a lovely 3-bed room. AC was wonderful. Bathrooms were kept very clean. We booked a trip through Brothers Hostel that was very fairly priced and was a lot of fun! The staff was wonderful and very helpful. They all spoke very good English and were very willing to help. I stayed 3 nights at the hostel with a friend and had a great time there and during excursions around Egypt which the guys helped us select. We arrived without any specific plans and they helped us fit in seeing the pyramids, going out to the deserts, and seeing ancient temples in 10 days. Before we went I was a little bit nervous about the situation in Egypt, but the guys from Brothers Hostel picked us up from the airport and made us feel safe and Cairo is not bad like in the news. The hotel driver picked us up from the Airport as promised at 2:30am for FREE as the hostel say...We hired a Taxi (organized through Hostel) from the hotel to the Pyramids for the day, excellent driver.. - Rooms were clean (cleaners are always cleaning the common areas which is good) Good information given from Mohamed. Location is great: on A street with loads of shopping, movie theaters and food. Only a few minutes walk to Tahrir Sq and the Museum. Hostel Brothers is by far the best out of the over 10 highly rated hostels I have stayed at over the past few years. The Hostel is the best because the hostel is safe, the atmosphere is friendly, and the morning Egyptian tea is excellent. Mohammad (owner) and his staff are also very kind and helpful.
