I had a great time staying at this hostel. Great staff, everything clean and neat! Located in the vicinity of the old town. The only complaint I would have, would regard the "free parking". This basically means that you would need to look for a parking on the nearby street. The staff, however, removed their car and let me use their spot right in front of the entrance to the hostel. I think this was the best hostel I ever stayed. The room was big and clean with nice decoration and good bathroom, the kitchen is also very nice, with new stuff to cook. Location is ok too, not very far from the old center. But in other way there was not breakfast included and the wifi didnt work in the room. In general I would come back for sure. I only stayed one night and didn't spend much time in the hostel, I can say the people are very welcome and friendly! They have wifi for free in the hall or a computer that you can use. The room was spacious, seemed recent painted, new forniture and the shower seemed new too. Bathroom is outside the room very small but never was too busy. There aren't many hostel options in Annecy. This was a great place though. It's about a 10 minute walk to the old part of town. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice, bathroom was great. Note that there is a shower and sink in the room, but the toilet is in the hallway if that makes a difference. Nice backyard to relax in. Was planning to stay for just one night, but ended staying 3! Its a great hostel, awesome little town, and really friendly staff. Even though its a little outside from centrum (Annecy is a small town, so 10min walk is far!). Highly recommended Christopher, from Sweden ~ 22nd Aug 2011

This is the sort of hostel that you always hope to find.Relaxed but efficiently run. Although obviously for the young, as a 50+ year old I was made to feel very welcome.Both French and Anglophile...a very international feel.Staff are very helpful and go out of their way to help sort out whatever problems may arise.
