This place a gem. It's far from the city center and takes two buses, one of which stops at 8pm, and a km hike up a hill to get there, but it is very worth it. The receptionist, Rosana, is wonderful for everything that is kind and generous but unnecessary, but lacking on some essentials. She was very welcoming and was so kind when I was exhausted and hungry. There aren't any places nearby for food, so when I got there late, she gave me food from the staff kitchen and set me up with an amazing vie Kathryne, from USA ~ 20th Jul 2011

The hostel is beautiful up on the hills overlooking Florence. They are very hospitable and fun. The location can bedifficult to get to and is challenging for backpackers to make it to and from the city to the hostel. The country side is gorgeous and this hostile definitely showcases that. Great place to go if you're looking for a quiet place in Tuscany. Staff was so friendly and went out of their way to pick us up at a bus stop since the buses stopped running. The place was very clean.Not close to center city, requires about an hour by bus. But the surrounding area was beautiful. Jordan, from Jordan ~ 2nd May 2011
