I was in the 18 bed room (guests were from spain, italy, swiss, us states, chile, china) we had a great time. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Free secure WLan to use. Top Location in the middle of Barcelona. It is not the cleanest place, but who cares... people who want a sterile room should go to a 5 Hotel.. I would go there again! Stayed in a double-bed room located in a different building. Super friendly staff, clean and neat rooms, everything the page says is there. Old building in a narrow alley in the very center of the city, i don't think you can get closer to the center than this. This comes with ups and downs: great atmosphere and picturesque Cathedral area on the one hand, hookers and drug dealers outside the hostel on the other. I didn't actually stay at Arco - if you booka private room you are sent to a different locations which is without many of the amenities listed for Arco.I couldn't get the wifi to work and staff doesn't speak much English - but despite all of this it was a nice enough hostel in a good location and quiet at night.
