Mold in bathrooms. Extremely thin walls and doors, you hear your neighbours walk, speak and going to the toilet/ taking showers. Staff turns on their washing machine at 6 a.m. - don't even think to return to sleep mode. Common room is "alternative" (others would say a bit dodgy). Good location close to the north-western edge of Kensington Gardens (if that is central enough for you). 24h recepttion. Free kitchen, free breakfast. Bring your own towel and padlock. Good location. Close to the tube. The hostel was clean and the staff was realy nice. There is a small but very good equipped kitchen where you can cook the, cofee or something for eat. The price include the breakfest. Our room (number 2) for 4 people was quite small, but to sleep it was sufficient. Michaela, from Czech Republic ~ 17th May 2012

This place is practically across the street from Hyde Park, and around a lot of places to eat and shop. I was in a 6 person mixed dorm and it was comfortable and clean. The shower was almost too small but the water pressure and temperature was good. The wifi/internet deal is stupid though. You have to pay 5 pounds to use wifi for 24 hours and I couldn't even get singal in my room. You also had to pay to use the computers. The breakfast is basically just toast, coffee, and cereal but it's free Kate, from USA ~ 3rd May 2012

It's hard to say something about the hostel. It's okay. We came there with 3 persons in a four bed room with a shower. The room itself was okay. The beds were average. The most disappointing thing were the toilets. Really. Don't sit down. Then it's okay. :D So.. yes. The breakfastwasn't good to. You only get a big box with butter, jam and nutella, sometimes peanut butter, too. It's icky. Not clean. But if u want to see London and if u r just in the hostel to sleep- then it's really oka Lisa, from Germany ~ 17th Apr 2012

Hector Ricardo, from Argentina ~ 14th Apr 2012

First time traveller to Brussels, enjoyed the hostels location as well as cleanliness. Good wifi but only in the lobby, good security and good prices. About a 15 minute walk to the main attractions in the Grand Paza. I would stay here again. Enrique, from USA ~ 14th Apr 2012

Stayed for 5 nights last march in a twin private. The shower and toilet stinky and dont have any windows..the beds are not comfortable and the sheets were dirty when we arrived.Wi-Fi costs money although most of hostels never charge for.. Had a problem from the begining with the key..the staff werent really helpfull with it.There was a day we almost missed a show because the unprofessional staff. Location good.Breakfast ok. Astor quest hostel is a very good deal! it's cheap and clean. And it's 2 min walk from the tube or the bus station. Very close to the center. Staff is kind et helpfull. But one problem was that their is no plug in the room to charge your phone or your camera! That was really annoying. And second point, breakfast is served only between 8- 10 am.. That means if you want to be in town at 8, you'll have no breakfast... Jennifer, from Switzerland ~ 24th Mar 2012
