La situación es bastante buena, pero nuestra habitación estaba justo al lado de la ducha en un entrepiso (el resto de habitaciones estaban un tramo de escaleras arriba/abajo), por lo que por las noches había muchísimo ruido y no podíamos dormir del todo bien: la gente joven subía por las escaleras formando mucho jaleo. Por otro lado, durante el desayuno parte del staff estaban en el comedor, pero no controlaban que hubiera de todo y varias mañans no tuvimos café, leche o mantequilla para Beatriz, from Spain ~ 23rd May 2012

This is a very good hostel, for those arriving by coach it's perfect, really near Victoria Coach Station. The perfect place to be for a few days, it has enough space in the rooms and the beds are good and clean. Staff is friendly too. I'd say the breakfast was a bit overcrowded by the time I was there, but I don't know if it is like that everyday. SABRINA, from Brazil ~ 16th May 2012

I booked an en-suite room to find that there was no toilet in the room, just a sink and shower so still had to use the toilets on the floor.The room was very cramped.Other than that no complaints.Good location with a bus stop right outside. Emma, from England ~ 15th May 2012

The staff there are nice and helpful. Some facilities need to be improved. For example, We were living in a 4 bedroom, the light and heater did not work quite well. The fire alarm was TOO sensitive...it was hit 3 times/night..could not sleep very well. Ka Yee, from Hong Kong ~ 13th May 2012

We spent 5 days in Astor Victoria. It was nice, the staff was very helpful, the location is very good, there are everything nearby (shops, pubs, bus and tube station). The breakfast was good, and about the cleanliness, not too bad. Our room was very small, but we didnt really spend more time in there except the nights. Wifi is not free but quite expensive. Most friendly staff ever. Great place to be. Amazing kitchen facilities. Hundreds of free movies to watch in the lounge. Wifi isn't free though, pretty much the only thing I would change about it. Leslie, from USA ~ 16th Apr 2012

Victoria Hostel has really convenient location near to Victoria Station. We were really satisfied with their services dispite negative reviews at Trip Advisor. Staff were helpful, bed sheets were clean, bathrooms and showers were as much clean as they can be when more people use it. I would recommend to take flip flops to showers. Water was hot all day - well not the shower in the fourth floor but you can choose one on a lower floor. There were always toilet tissues in restrooms. As hostels go, it was really great. It's fairly close to Victoria station, and I had a few really good meals at local restaurants, plus a nice pub nearby. I stayed in a 4 bed female ensuite, and I have zero complaints. It was intimate enough to get to know each other, and there's storage space below each bunk. Although I should say that the shower is literally in the room, not in a separate bathroom. Very dirty. I would not stay here again. People had their stuff stolen. Rooms really small and crowded. Bathrooms and showers were not so great. Some of the toilets didn't even flush.
